A Quality Score is a measure that Google assigns to ads, keywords, and landing pages within the Google Ads system.

What is a Quality Score on Google Ads?

The index ranges from 1 to 10 and is used to assess the relevance and quality of your advertising ads. A high quality score improves the chances of appearing in a higher position in ads and reduces theCost per click (CPC).

How is the quality score calculated?

The quality score is calculated using three main factors:

  1. Expected Click-Through Rate CTR): Google's assessment of the likelihood that a user will click on the ad.
  2. Ad Relevance: Matching the ad to the user's keyword and searches.
  3. Landing Page Experience: Google's assessment of the quality and relevance of the landing page.

Online furniture store offers a wide range of furniture for the home. In order to improve its quality score on Google Ads, you need to focus on a few things:

  • Expected click-through rate (CTR): Use of eye-catching texts and clear calls to action in ads. For example, “Shop now and get 10% off!”
  • Relevance of the ad: Using precise keywords such as “modern furniture”, “dining chairs”, and incorporating them into the ad in an organic and natural way.
  • Landing Page Experience: Create a fast, user-friendly landing page, with content appropriate to the ad, such as a page showing the modern furniture offered on sale.
